They should, but how after you just gave him a juiced 99, and that card is JUICED, diamond fielding and takes bases when he wants. I know they can’t predict performances but I think they should have held off and if he doesn’t perform in the playoffs give him a finest, now what do you do?.

Exactly. You can’t go out like that. You have to put in your best players that give you your best chance to win. Padres managing took an L on this one. Not taking away anything from Bryce. He keeps proving why he’s one of the best players in baseball.

The one who was pitching, isnt he one of their best arms? didnt he close before the Hader trade?
dont want Hader for 2 innings and not be available for monday.
dont want Hader pitching to 2 righties after Harper no matter what happened with Harper.
if he was a lower tier arm i could see,but hes a top guy, and almost got him but Harper won the battle. -

In the moment though, thwre were spme good reasons for it, it just didnt work.
