Happens to me A LOT !!! It is one thing to lose a game to a better player and another because of these mistakes of the game......smh

There is no denying that the outfield play and locking on to fly balls in the outfield has changed this year. Even offline my outfielders have made more error already that my outfield did all last year.

I suck at hitting but I'm a good fielder, I'm telling you yesterday it was crazy the amount of outfielders that weren't locking in for me and opponents. Before yesterday I didn't see it much.

It only happens to me when I pre-load the throw. Just avoid doing that for the time being and you shouldn't have a problem. Its hard not to pre-load your throws though

It’s happened to me several times, the latest last night in an events game. Pop up foul to the catcher, third base foul line, I run him into the fielding circle and he keep going past it. I overcorrect him turn turn back into the circle and he runs past it again and the ball drops. I have no idea what fielding mode I am playing on...

Such a childish thing to say, dude do you have the patience of a 5 year old? Wait till they fix this "bug" which I've never seen before...they said in patch 1.06 that gameplay hasn't been tweaked so that's a hint that they'll be future gameplay tweaks. You casual/noobs and turning this forum into a day care.

16 and 17 had this problem and they fixed it in 18, 19. Now 20 has the problem. yes manual fielding.

Even when they catch it, it tends to be at the last possible millisecond, gradually creeping into what will become a heart attack, each time.

I've played 6 games so far offline and I manually control my fielders and I've had zero problems so far, so I don't get it...I feel like I'm living in bizarro world and everyone is pranking me.

Had a game where bvb yelich at RF didnt even try to catch the ball and kept on running in some dumb glitch, same game had Diamond Judge at LF and literally waited on the baseball icon and judge disnt catch it

Played an event game last night, 1st inning my CF has a line drive right at him that he missed, a run scored. Later my opponents left fielder has a ball hit him in the chest a couple batters later a 2 run homer ties it. He ended up quitting because later in the inning I hit another 2 run homer. All because of a ball hitting his guy.

This has also never happened to me in 27 ranked games so far.... I've had moments where it almost did but I reliably slow down to the marker when fielding and play smart. Defense has been great. Punishing if you don't play well and rewarding when you do.
If 1 error happens every once in a while that's not your fault, well that's baseball... I just don't see the problem. -

What is funny is it happened last year and people were saying nothing was wrong and SDS fixed it because it was a problem.
