Moonshot question

I'm pretty much on hold in advancing on the Moonshot event. Are the missions the only way? Does XP have anything to do with advancing? Outside of events, which I don't really do, is there anything else I can do?

Pretty sure it's just the missions and the 4 moments. I don't think the event qualifies anymore.
The missions are not hard. Just time consuming. I'm an AS-lifer, so I groaned a little about the 10 HR on HoF. Turns out it's really not that much different than AS. You can do it, bro!

Mix of Power Hitters and Speed Guys and play at Polo Grounds. Oneil Cruz and Hank Aaron got 3 or 4 I-T-P for me. I don't play on anything over Veteran if I don't have to and I was averaging 2-3 HR's a game. Played the Mariners and Athletics.

I just finished moonshot. I focused on the program feature missions and moonshot at the same time. I played the Pirates, Rockies, Cubs, Orioles, and Athletics for the most part.
Just have patience and you'll get it done. When the Judge program came out, those missions kicked in as well. I almost have the feature missions done and the Yankees mission from Judge's program as well.
