Juicy pack set 2

I’d honestly like to see a 99 Lindor or Adley but I don’t think it fits the theme of these packs. Plus with Rollins just coming out they might not want another switch hitting SS that might be as good or better.

I loved that Signature Lindor last year. Even is FOTF at the beginning of the season was one of my best cards. So far they're all legends but I don't see why they can't have flashbacks.

His swing is so good. I hit more home runs with him than any other SS by a long shot. Plus his defense is pretty much maxed out besides the arm.

@Dolenz_MLBTS the Cardinals outfield just got a lot more fun. Glad to see Lou get a 99 this year.

I like where your head is at. I've got a handful of cards I'm waiting to go down a bit before I buy.

I can't even be disappointed at getting the base round when the choices are this good.
But hopefully the rare round has one of the OG legends -- Foxx, Big Train, Lefty Grove, Honus, Mathewson, Feller, or Babe.

I’d be cool with any of those except Matthewson . They can keep him. The others I’m all for it.

Christy says he can't break glass with his pitches and doesn't want to be a 99 HAHAHAHAHA

I wouldn’t even stick around to find out. I’d end up dashboarding by the time he finished that long a** windup. Lol

Still have no clue why they're called 'Juicy packs.' With my pack luck in '22, I'll get a dried up piece of lemon you put in a drink aka Base round again.
-
Hope we get one in the map tomorrow… unlikely but hope

These are great. Been looking forward to Lou and Kiner.
My guesses for rare:
Pitchers-
Orel Herschiser or
Bob Gibson (someday I'll be right)Hitters-
Stan Musial
Honus Wagner
Babe RuthWith Brock in the base round I think it is a long shot another Cardinal gets a card in this pack, especially so shortly after Edmonds. Those cards are coming the only question is when.
The next question is who do I bench for Brock. I think it may be Jordan Walker. I can then move Pujols from LF to 3B and add in Brock. I needed another right handed bat on the bench anyway and as well as I have done with Walker I still prefer to use legends over Future stars. That would leave Gorman as the only FS in the starting lineup.
-
Ill take really any kind of RP in the rare round like Dibble or Goose.

I know the rare round will only be 3 players but let's hope its between Jimmie Foxx, Junior Griffey, Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays
Yes! Good call! We need those. I wouldn’t mind a Juiced Babe Ruth too. His last one was only a 96 or 97. They can’t disrespect the Babe like that.
I agree 100 percent! I also think what they did to Gehrig, Mays, and Griffey Jr. was in bad taste. A Babe card with boosted defense and speed, and of course his hitting attributes, would make him more usable. I could play Foxx or Gehrig (if he gets another card) at 1B, and have Babe in the OF.
I know, it’s unlikely; but can’t a guy dream? -

We know there’s probably gonna be a pitcher in there too. Throw out some pitcher ideas. I think we’ll get another Roy Halladay eventually
Kershaw, I know he is an active player; but he isn’t getting a Finest. So I would like something like his cards since MLBTS 19. Maybe throw in a random outlier, like Pedro’s card.
But, I have been waiting for Halladay to come into the game, so I would hope they give him a nice card. -

Babe RuthSo, your saying you want a bunch of Cardinals? I actually would like most of those cards. Honus and Ruth definitely. I have a ton of respect for Stan Musial, I just don’t do well with his cards. Plus, I think the only place to use him is at 1st because of his speed. However, I know there are likely people who do well with his card; so I wouldn’t mind him being in the pack

Babe RuthThose sound about right. I’d be pretty stoked about a Honus like last year. I wouldn’t have much use for another Stan card but he deserved a 99. Orel and Bob Gibson wouldn’t be bad at all. We need a legit Gibson card with high hits per 9 and maybe outlier. I think he was a hard thrower.
Doesn’t Gibson’s card usually come with outlier? I could be wrong, but he throws hard already if not. I’m still a fan of giving outlier to pitchers who are not known for hitting three digits. Halladay and Kershaw come to mind. I do want a Kershaw card that is a little more usable. I pitch well with his cards, but in a game with high per-9s and outlier, I would like to see something done to make him a top pitcher again.
I think the outlier quirk should either go back to being an actual outlier, or taken out of the game completely. I know the latter won’t happen, there are too many players that only use pitchers with that quirk. -

As great as that would be I don't see it happening. Those just aren't the type of guys they throw into packs. They will either be program, Collection, or WS/BR
But players such as Jason Bay, Shawn Green, Tori Hunter, and Steve Finley don’t usually get card that are better than Mays and Griffey Jr. I agree with you it’s very unlikely those players won’t come in a pack, I am just saying we really don’t know what is going on.

between 92-95 mph
How fast was Bob Gibson's Fastball? Bob Gibson's 4-seam fastball “sat” between 92-95 mph in the sample I considered. It's likely he actively varied his grip or intended velocity, producing a high velocity range, measured at 87-95, with numerous indications that he regularly exceeded 95 mphHe was responsible for getting the mound lowered after the 1968 season when his ERA was 1.12 though
They lowered it from 15 inches down to 10 inches. They also changed the strike zone. They are unofficially called the Gibson Rules. I heard there was some talk of lowering or moving the mound back again.
