Topps Now Albert Pujols HR moment. Been stuck on it for over half an hour now. I hate using Pujols cards.

The Moment (or any VS CPU mode) I want to complain about is when you have to get (H/XBH/HR) in one plate appearance. They have a runner on 1B and it starts out Pick-off Attempt 1-> Pick-off Attempt 2 -> Pitch Out -> Pick-off Attempt 3 and then 1st pitch of the at bat.

Roberto Clemente program:
6 total bases in one game. Yeah, right.
My favorite: 3 hits in one game. Pitcher they roll out has a 100+ H/9 inning rating. Yeah, right.
The third one: hit a homer off the oriole left handed who refused to throw anything above the knees.
Needed one of those three to finish the program. Literally, one hour and many, many, many bad words later, got the homer that barely cleared RF wall at OPACY. And I mean barely.
I wasn’t so much happy to get the Clemente card as I was PO’d that it took so dang long.

Yup, i left the 6 base game and the 3 hits in one game. Got the Orioles one done relatively quickly luckily though, aimed for the opposite field and managed to hit one straight to center field.

I have to say though and it may just be me but i actually find that CPU pitching has gotten worse since the update. Playing through the new moments yesterday and 70% of the pitches were balls way out of the zone or aimed in on the hands to get the player to pop up.

Yes. And they do that even with 2 outs lol. I'm like dude, you have 2 away, just worry about the guy at the plate and the man on 1st cannot score!

Shockingly, I got the Clemente Moments done in about 30 minutes total earlier, but the 6TB one was a doozy.

It's impossible to slap a homer with Kyle Stowers..... holy cow, been trying non stop for at least 75 tries.

I completed all the Moments for the new program pretty easily but some of those monthly moments sucked. i finished the Aug Moments last night. Took longer than it should or. Pitching Moments for me are the easiest. That Stowers moment was the worst, to get it done I set the PCI at the very bottom of the zone and once I did that it was gone. That moment probably took me a good 20 minutes or longer.

That's pretty much how it's been all year. The CPU pitcher throws balls way out of the zone and then they'll somehow dot the corner, or at least the black, when they need a strike.

Saberhagen in the feature program. It doesn't say it, but it's 3 Ks in 1 inning. All it says is 3K and no hits.
Ugh...any ball hit fair or a foul out ruins the inning.

That one probably took me the longest because the first hitter for the Twins (Arraz?) is leading the AL in hitting. Once I struck him out the rest was easy.

I know this thread is about 2022 moments, but I am still traumatized from one back in 2020 -- 2 XBH and a SB with Jackie. Cannot even tell you how many times I got 2 doubles and would end up with a runner ahead of me. Or I would end up on 2nd and somehow the CPU insisted it was a single + advance on an error. So, so, so many nightmare-ish scenarios in that one. I must have tried and failed 200 times before I finally got it. I'm still angry about it, but -- thanks to this thread -- I am going to let it go. I will never complain about it again.

Not at the moment, but for some reason a couple months back, htting a home run with Luis Barerra in the bottom of the ninth against Raisel Iglasias at the Collesium felt like it took three hours. I don't think it helped that every single time you got out Sciambi would say "aNd ThAtS a No HiTtEr!!!" for some reason.

I got that one but it definitely highlighted one of my little pet peeves with the game. Hitting a ball between 3rd and SS. The 3B does a layout dive but does not catch the ball and it bounces away from his glove.
But he is so good that he pops up from his stomach to gt back on his feet, retrieves the ball and still throws out a runner with 99 speed? Yeah, I don't buy that for an instant.
