I'm curious to see where you guys place your left thumb for hitting. I've noticed that my thumb has "migrated" almost all the way to the left edge of the stick. I think this is why I've been jamming my PCI all over the place.

Where do you guys place your thumb?

Bottom edge so I don’t pull down, I also start it high in the zone, if it’s near the middle I let it go and it release back to the middle and if it’s low I take. Two strikes you have to fight them off obviously but it really helps you not drop the PCI because it’s actually kinda hard to even move it down

Hmm. I feel like at least my intention is middle. Pretty sure I take that balanced approach with a middle starting position against opposite side pitchers and an anchored middle in against same side.

I place the PCI anchor in the center of the same side as the pitchers arm and slightly bring the PCI down a little. If it's a submariner pitcher, I have the PCI anchor on the lower corner of the side of the pitcher's arm and again bring the PCI down slightly from there. If it's a Outlier pitcher, I will have the PCI anchor in top corner of the pitcher's arm and once again, I'll bring the PCI down slightly from there.

    My thumb is top right.
I always place my pci anchor top right
I am way smoother pulling my pci towards my hand than pushing away.

Bend my thumb in a right angle and place it dead center of the stick.

If you figure out the magical placement , let me know. I am consistently inconsistent with my PCI and seem to have tried every thumb placement /grip out there.

Tell me where your thumb was when you beat Showdown Extreme. I want to start there 😀
