Baserunners that are subject to a force play should always advance on a struck ball when there are two outs. It seems like this would be an easy fix.

The auto baserunning option is not very realistic. I have played MLBTS for years and still cannot get the buttons to control multiple runners to work right. I tuned auto on because of it. Let's count the ways that the CPU does really dumb things.

1.) Steals bases in scenarios that make no sense. Guy on first and you are down by two. Guy attempts a steal.
2.) Runners stop between bases for no reason on just about any play and often just stand there.
3.) Wild pitches that a slow runner has no business running attempting to advance.

The auto option has cost me some games for sure.

I gave classic baserunning a try, and it still runs for me automatically. Is classic just auto with the option to manually control?

I believe there is an option for "baserunning assist" which helps automate the runners after the ball is in play but allows you to control them individually under classic controls.

Its not perfect but its the best option available imo. AI doesn't get the best reads and animations sometimes.
