The signature series covers his full career where his H/9 was worse than in the one year (1997) that this card is focusing on. Plus, as we learned today there's only one starting pitchers over 110 H/9 and that's Nolan Ryan. I think people will be disappointed no matter what they reveal. If he comes with a quirk where a supermodel massages you while you watch ESPN all day people would complain that they had to watch commercials. It's all gonna be OK.

Win it two years with Boston. One year with Montreal. And one of the years with Boston was better than the year he won it with Montreal; but you put him in a Montreal uniform?
Only issue I have, right now, with this card.
The nationals/expos were hurting for some cards. My last count Red Sox had 28 flashbacks and legends to the Nationals had 20

That was a great post!

Oh, being a fan, I'll still use the card. Just wanted it to be a Red Sox card so I can replace the earlier one.

His card last year only had 94 h/9 on a better year so I will imagine it will be unusable
His card last year had 102 H/9 on a card based on his whole career. Maybe sit this one out

So what is a 'good' H/9?

This year anything from 105-110 is more than fine imo. Starters maxed out at 110 H/9 in 18-20 and no one even remotely cared as much as they did last year. I stand by the fact that No hitter cards are one of the dumbest ideas SDS ever had. That being said, this year there is 1 no-hitter card upon pedros release. Last year there were like 15

I cant stand commercials

He allowed less hits per nine in 1997. I’ll take either one tbh, this one we are getting will def be more tough to hit.

Who doesn't haha. Although Mark Hammil in the new Jack in the Box commercial is life changing.
