Starting pitchers in the bullpen

I have encountered this a couple times lately and was curious how that was done. I cannot choose a starter to put in the bullpen and am not sure I would want to. More curious at this point.

Starters can't be put in the bullpen. They can be used as relievers.

In the bullpen screen, where the true relievers are listed, there is L1/R1 option (PS, don’t know Xbox) which moves screen to starters….they warm up and insert the same way as relievers.

Some starters in the Postseason Series are listed as RP, Eovaldi, Price, Ryan and Lefty Grove. I am sure there are probably more series like this that have SP listed as RP

Those cards are based on them pitching in relief during the post season. If you want to use any starter out of the pen, you just scroll over to your starters when in your bullpen during the game... you can use any of your pitchers in relief.

Yeah, you can bring anyone in to pitch in relief, just hit L1/R1 to scroll to starters as everyone says. Just be mindful that your stamina for starters takes longer to replenish.
