How’s Roberts? I’m an Os fan so I kinda want to take him just because. Also do you like Greinke?
Roberts is one of my favorites every year, and he has not disappointed me in BR so far. Love him.
That’s not what I wanted to hear lol I was hoping you’d say Greinke is good, I can see why Greyson is good. He throws so hard. Kinda like a Nolan Ryan type.
Throwing hard doesn’t make a good pitcher. Also, like hitting, different deliveries and motions work for different people. Of course, a player with horrible attributes can usually tell you all you need to know just by looking at them.
I’ve always liked Greinke’s cards, even though there not “meta.” He has a great pitch repertoire, as well as very good speed differentials.I know just a hard fastball doesn’t make you a good pitcher but if you have a good fastball with really good off speed pitches the hitter will be off balance. You have to tunnel your pitches. That’s why I like Greinke so much too. I loved his card last year. Plus he can swing the bat.
I agree. I didn’t mean for my post to come off as I was knocking you or anything. I can tell you know how to pitch and understand tunneling and mixing pitches. I just know there are people who decide if a pitcher is good or not based on if he has the outlier quirk. Even pitchers that look good on paper could be hard to pitch with. I won’t use Walter Johnson because I feel as if I would have to IBB the lead-off hitter in every inning just so I could pitch from the stretch if had to use him.
I am sure I will end up trying Greyson out too.

I just got to the second pack and sold both choices I made, Greinke then Cruz. I’m at 176k now, and at 225k there’s a choice pack of all 9, which may drop the prices some. I’m trying to complete the LS collection, so may get it with this program.
I didn’t like Cruz all that much, maybe because I’m not that good at it, but just couldn’t make good contact. If I was to choose any of them, probably Greinke and Votto.
With a Stub sale going on right now, would t the prices come down some after it’s over?
Was thinking the same thing. Prices for these bosses should bottom out when the stubs sales end which also correlates to the last few days of this program when more people will have reached these packs.

The cards will drop further once the Reds conquest drops the Griffy Collection, a hot Collection plus some new missions. 40k is likely were they all settle

I think it is still early. I sold Cruz for 127k last night. I'll take it. Check back on Monday. That should be the best indicator of where prices are. I can see FS bosses going down because people will use another FS in their 2nd choice pack.

Looks like the first pack is leveling out at 60-70K. With the second and third packs leveling out at 100-110K and 70-80K each.
Is it safe to assume that these will maintain at least the values there are at now; since they're really the first 99OVR bosses released?
The only one that can make my team is FS Cruz. I was going to sell the other three and buy them back later ; but with this being a short program, I don't see them dropping much lower than they are at right now.
I noticed that too. I’ve been watching the market and Greinke was down to about 58k and now he’s back to around 60 so I went ahead and bought him and I’ll choose another card as soon as I get to the pack. I’m at 140k Xp right now,
He was close to 59K this morning, i'm closing in on 175K XP, sold the Votto for 60K stubs to help me finish the Brett collection. I'll probably keep Cruz, as he looks like an end game SS at this point. I made the huge mistake of going for Brett too late, now i'm paying double the price trying to finish collections. You know the market is jacked up when a Familia closer 81 card is selling for 14K stubs!

A lot of people haven’t played much of this program because it dropped on a Tuesday. Lowest point should be after this weekend. I’m only at 40k xp and I’m someone who finishes programs entirely most of the time.
I’ve never gotten to the end of a program, I just make a goal to get the boss packs. I don’t know about this one. Do you finish programs just playing DD or do you play RTTS or other game modes too?
To finish a program, i take those players and play vs the CPU on veteran, destroy them and get 5 to 7K Xp every time. I also to RTTS as those games are stress free/quick XP.

It's so funny how this shook out. I took a FS 2x and sold both to land other bosses towards Cutch and had stubs left over. FS was the collection I skipped for Brett and will skip again for Cutch.

It’s all good. I didn’t take any offense to it. I agree on Walter Johnson. Honestly I really don’t like pitching with a lot of the legend pitchers because their windups are so slow.

They do this year. There are future star program bosses on this reward path. Last month they had FOTF. No rules, total madness
Those future star bosses are for this program. I'm saying u won't see any bosses in these main programs being given out in a conquest or those "other" programs.

I agree that you likely won’t see these bosses in another program aside from them doing a forever type program at the end of content. (Though we have had some strange things happen.) The only program packs we have seen again are from the TA type programs. Also, Future Star cards were released again in the all star program; but like you said, these three FS cards weren’t in that program. There were no 99 FS cards in that program.

I took him in my last pack and bought the other two FS guys today for around 60k each. It will be interesting to see how low they go or if people panic and the pick back up in price.
