Flashback player items - legend player items

MYbe I’m missing some thing in the new field of dreams program but under missions it say to get 5000 XP with flashback player items and legend Player items. On the other programs it says player what does the items mean.

Nothing, it's just flashback and legend cards

From what I can tell legends are guys that are retired. Flashbacks are current players that are not live series.

I used an all future stars lineup and it seemed to knock out both future stars and flashback PXP.

Any card of a current MLB player, that isn't part of the Live Series, is considered a Flashback. Future Star, Prospect, FOTF, Topps Now, and Monthly Awards are all considered Flashbacks

When you are in the manage team screen and click on a position, you can turn on a filter for legends and one for flashbacks. That will give you all of the cards you have that are eligible.
