Riley July POTM | Stage 2 LOCKED?

Anyone run into this? I unlocked Starling Marte after collecting all 17 players... I completed all state 1 moments. I submitted a ticket to SDS and waiting on their response. Thought I might take a stab to see if anyone has encountered this issue? Any workarounds to get past this hiccup?

It's not an issue. There are more things to do than just the moments and collection. You need to take a closer look at the missions in the program.

Did you buy any of the players for the collect? cause you have to have every moment done to have enough pts. to get to stage 2.

I think he’s saying that he is saying he is stuck in stage 1 after doing the TN moments and collection. That’s all I did to advance to stage 2. I could be missing something, but I think he does have an issue there.

It's not an issue. There are more things to do than just the moments and collection. You need to take a closer look at the missions in the program.
There are no missions in stage one, correct? It is simply doing all of the Topps Now moments and collecting all 17 players.
I don't have an answer for the original poster but he/she is not the first person I have seen report the error.

There are no missions in stage one, correct? It is simply doing all of the Topps Now moments and collecting all 17 players.
I don't have an answer for the original poster but he/she is not the first person I have seen report the error.
There are no missions, but if he bought some players (as @PAinPA_PSN said) to finish the collection, then he could have some moments unfinished. If he has 75 points and Stage 2 is still locked, then he does have an issue. If he doesn't have 75 points, then something is unfinished.

For what it's worth, I've completed every single program MLB has offered this year. I mean every. Single. Program.
Yup, I have 75 points. I have the check mark on stage 1. First time I've ever ran into anything like this... I figured it was a bug because RIGHT as I completed Stage 1, I got a server disconnect error. I figure that confused the game/glitched out/not sure how to word that.

Haha dang. Whatever site I used absolutely nuked my image quality. I can confirm, I do have the 75 points & the check mark on stage 1.

Yeah, you have a problem. I hope they answer your ticket quickly so you can move on. I'm sure the server disconnect caused the problem. You may try quitting the game, rebooting, and restarting to see if it picks it up - or maybe even uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. That will get the info from the server.

Thanks, man. Yeah worst game I can just reinstall. I wouldn't expect that to cause any syncing/content issues (but I would be devastated if it did.)
I just recorded a quick video for the devs as well.
I'll admit, it was a little corny to include the brief 2 second snippet of my roster & record.

Uninstalling and reinstalling won't change any linking or sync issues. I have my Switch linked to my PS account and I have done it a few times at the direction of SDS because of glitches.
Worst case, it may reset your progress to just before the disconnect and you will have to redo whatever the server doesn't think is finished.

Ok. Weird suggestion. But instead of going into the program and trying to enter Stage 2 can you try going into the Moments Tab on the Main Menu and seeing if they're unlocked?
If you don't know what I mean; when you load the game don't click on The Diamond Dynast tab and use the controller pad to go down. You should see tabs that say Challenge Of The Week, Moments, Etc. Enter Moments and go down to Other Programs - July POTM and see if they unlock that way.

Look at the video he posted. Stage 2 is unlocked but his moments and missions aren't. I'm curious if he'll be able to get to the moments through the Moments section.

Yeah, man. Not a bad thought by you. This was actually the first thing I tried. All of the moments show completed on the moments tab via the main menu and Stage 2 remains bolted, locked, shut.
I even replayed the Aaron Judge & Yordan moment just to see if like, I could force the program forward. Hoping for a lil love in my inbox from SDS today...

You know how you get program XP in stage 2 for getting 2000xp with TOPPS NOW players? I wonder what would happen if I gained that, and my program total would jump up to 86 points. But I would still be out of luck I think, because the game believes I haven't completed Stage 1, and they're gonna lock my out regardless. I .... Think.
