I know not everyone that plays this game can finish collections so I think we should name some budget players that you like using. I’ll go first.

    Ella De La Cruz
    Eduardo Escobar
    Jasson Dominguez
    All Star Julio Rodriguez
    All star Dansby Swanson
99 David Ortiz is a monster!
    Devers and Riley POTM
Jose Miranda POTM program card…I’ve like him a lot so far too
    Jorge Polanco
    Geovany Soto
    Silver Slugger Xander Bogaerts

    And for pinch hitters
    HRD Seager
    HRD Ramirez
    Nick Swisher

That’s just a small list. I could list a lot more but who do you all like?

    Wilson Contreras All Star
    Pete Alonso HRD
    Ryan Howard Prime
    Nolan Gorman Future Stars
    Jose Ramirez HRD
    M.J Melendez Future Stars
Brandon Crawford Awards (He's now down to 15K)
Mookie Betts All Star (This card is still king for me)
    Curtis Granderson Awards
    Jose Altuve (POTM)
    Ketel Marte 2nd Half

There are so many great choices this year for cheap

    The Ketel is amazing.
I really like Mookie and Altuve too.
I’ve been meaning to try Nolan Gorman. Thanks for reminding me.

Good list btw I can agree on all those guys except Ryan Howard. I think they did him dirty.

I'll be honest I haven't had many at bats with Howard yet but I've enjoyed him so far and I used his Cover card at the beginning of the year, I think it might be his swing is very long which can be hard to hit with.

I haven’t gotten that far in the program to get him yet but I’ve always loved his cards. Great swing and versatile. Plays a good 2b too.

Austin Martin is one of the best cards under 15k
Reid Detmers FS is pretty good and 11k I think
The Escobar TN is a beast
Harrell III FS is well rounded contact/power/ speed
Jeter Downs TN is a good cheap card
All the AS cards are good and cheap - specifically I think Gimenez, Arraez, Verlander, Jose Ramirez are good value

I like that Austin Martin quite a bit too. Wish he had a little more power but great contact.
Escobar is easily one of my favorite cards out of any card. Even high dollar cards.
I love Gimenez….Arraez not so much.
    Nice list 👍

I’ll add that this Jose Miranda MA card is 50k now, but that price should come down to 25k or so and it looks like an awesome card that has good positional versatility and decent speed (for a corner IF) to go along with a nice swing and hitting attributes

I love all those cards. Soriano is Really good but I didn’t think he was budget but I guess he is now. Good picks.

If Devers counts, Yordan does too. I don’t really count the lightning guys as budget bc even though they are technically free, you could sell the tops now guys or the low diamonds for over 150k and just not complete the program. Plus, you have to buy one or more of the low diamonds to complete stage 2 I think. But, Yordan is the best bat in the game. Jesse Winker was essentially the same card last year. They are both disasters in LF, but the bat makes it totally worth it. I think I have 55 hits with him, and 45 are extra base hits. I think 38 are long balls. Plus you get walks like crazy bc no one wants to pitch to him.

You know I actually forgot about Yordan. Good call. I don’t even think he’s that bad in left compared to Stanton or Soto as far as fielding goes

You can complete the MA programs without buying any cards.

Yeah you’re right, I just noticed that doing the July one tonight. I guess I usually buy a couple to get it done quicker. If you didn’t want the lightning or flashback guy though, you could make 300k+ selling these guys when the program is new.

The MA programs are cool though. If you bought the game today, you could have a decent team just completing the July program

    C - Realmuto
    1b- Chapman
    2b- Biggio
    3b- Riley
Ss- Miranda or Seager from HRD pack
LF- Ramirez or Rodriguez from HRD pack
    CF- Marte
    RF- Carpenter

Yastrzemski, Mancini, Nolan Jones, Downs, and Urias on the bench

The two program SP plus Manoah or Kershaw from AS pack, TN Gray and Berrios

The two program RP plus Appel in the pen
