There are a few no brainers here but I'm curious who would round out your top 5. I'm sure Riley will make the list soon but for now, I don't have him yet.

    1. George Brett- SDS got this one right, a cool surprise for the first collection and insane attributes.

    2. Manny Machado- AS 22- nice swing, solid defense.

    3. Rafael Devers lightning card. I love all Devers cards. His FOTF was an early favorite so this is just a much better version of that.

    4. Jose Ramirez- HRD- he absolutely mashes from both sides of the plate for me.

    5. Nolan Arenado - for a henchmen, he card had major pop. I can't wait for a higher version.

    Who you got?

Using Devers as of right now. I always played horrible with Machado cards; I haven’t even used him yet this year. His swing usually just doesn’t work well with me. Everyone plays different with a player though.

I have the ROY Pujols higher than Machado. But that is all about swing and offense. He does pull the 1b off the bag once in a blue moon.

I would switch to button accuracy on your throws. I didn’t do it for a long time because I was so used to the old way from years of playing, but once you get used to it it’s easy and any throwing errors will be due to user input and not chance.

It takes a little getting used to with the timing, but once you get it you don’t even have to think about it and your timing kinda becomes automatic.

There’s of course a lot of good options out now for 3B.

Brett is #1 and isn’t going anywhere. If I didn’t have him Devers would be there(I actually use him at 1B now). I bet this Carpenter card in his secondary would be a great option based on his swing and attributes(haven’t tried him Online yet).

    Brett
    Lightning Devers
    Mathews P5
    Sandoval P5
    Probably new Riley

JRam and Machado have too small of PCI for me to use online but offline rookie/veteran are fine.

See yourself out? That like a mic drop? Do you think you hit some secret amazing card? We all know the card...I have literally every 3B in The Show including secondary position. I don't care who you are, how you play, or what swing type you prefer/........the Brett card simply flat out destroys that Austin martin card. Heck, I even prefer Glaus. Devers is no doubt a better card......There's easily 10+ better cards....if you like Austin Martin's card that's great....but acting like you found some magic secret when the card really doesn't stack up very well ....that's not gonna convince anyone. Guess the point is, of course you are entitled to your preference but its how you state it that makes a difference

My bad "ill see myself out" is more of a self deprecating phrase in that scenario. I know that there's a bunch of better cards, and me saying hes the best, was at the end of the day a joke. Sorry for hitting a nerve lol

PS yeah hes my favorite card the past 2 years, thats the main reason why I use him lol. To each their own, nbd.

    My top 5 3B are:
95 Devers (because I have him at P4 and very close to 5, and I like hitting with him)
97 Machado (he will be my new favorite after Devers is P5)
95 Jose Ramirez - I haven't used him much but I like him so far
93 Alex Bregman - He has good defense and he I hit well with him
93 Jon Berti - I can't say enough good things about him. I hit well with him and he is lightning on the basepaths. If I hadn't been working on Devers, he would have replaced him last June.

Okay - lets talk 3B. The Hot Corner - okay, A hot corner but hotter than 1B. What do I want in a 3B fielder? 1. Fielding, 2. Arm Accuracy, 3. Arm Strength, and 4. Speed.

Let's see what the database (downloaded this morning) holds for us. I haven't looked at this before, so this will be just as much a revelation for me as it is for you.

There are 165 3B cards (as of today) in the database, 51 of them are diamonds.

    Top 5 Fielders
97 Matt Chapman - I was looking at his card and almost took it for the POTM program but decided on Matt Carpenter instead, because of his versatility.
    94 Nolan Arenado
    76 Ke'Bryan Hayes
    97 Manny Machado
    90 Brooks Robinson

    Top 5 Arm Accuracy
    90 Brooks Robinson
    80 Kevin Youkilis
    95 Mike Schmidt
    96 Josh Jung
    77 Ryan McMahon

    Top 5 Arm Strength
    97 Manny Machado
    72 Johan Camargo
    75 Christopher Morel
    88 Manny Machado
    70 Biran Anderson

    Top 5 Speed
93 Jon Berti (told you he was fast)
    78 Bobby Witt Jr.
    92 Jeter Downs
    73 Buddy Kennedy
    87 Minnie Minoso

Just for fun, let's look at contact and power too

    Top 5 Contact (averaged L and R)
    99 George Brett (122.5, 120, 125)
    91 Yoan Moncada (118, 125, 111)
    95 Rafael Devers (112,5, 110, 115)
    92 Wade Boggs (110.5, 99, 122)
    85 Edgar Martinez (110.5, 122, 99) - LOL - exactly the opposite of Boggs.

    Top 5 Power (averaged L and R)
    90 Eugenio Suarez (121.5, 118, 125)
    95 Jose Ramirez (115, 115, 115)
    95 Troy Glaus (110, 118, 102)
    90 Harmon Killebrew (106.5, 109, 104)
    95 Mike Schmidt (105.5, 109, 102)

The top 5 3B cards by the numbers and only the numbers. If there is another category you want me to look at, let me know and I will edit this post.

I love all these answers. I hadn't thought of Matt Carpenter as a secondary yet because I haven't gotten any of the 97s from July. But he and Chapman will be good options. I think Riley will will the closest to Brett but like many have said, it's all about preference.

I play mostly offline and so the stats between a 99 and a 94 will be more about how I perform with them and what mode I use them on. For instance, in a small sample size, Arenado is far and away my best. In like 25-20 ABS I'm hitting over .600 with lots of power. Obviously that will ho down if I use him more and Brett's stats have jumped up in the last few weeks.

Now if I'm going online. It has to be Brett or Manny at this point for me. Maybe Devers (and Riley when I get him). But I haven't really used the Future Stars at 3rd.

I'm looking forward to a high 💎 Mike Schmidt and Eddie Matthews and also whoever said Glaus, I always enjoy his cards.
