Genuinely curious what the typical DD player does to build a diamond squad so quickly. I've got 50 hours in and am at Bronze 46. I hate playing offline but have done what is necessary just to get Pudge, Kerry Wood, and Granderson. Have also come up with 87 Robles, Smoltz and Maddux via marketplace. All gold players so far otherwise.

It all requires way more offline play than I would like.

But then I go to play online, and don't make it very far these days because as soon as I hit Pennant Race, I'm facing all-diamond squads, usually high-diamond at that, and get killed. I've been playing DD since 2012 and don't remember having as much difficulty ranking up as I am this year. So I'm stuck playing offline trying to build up my squad... but offline is so boring lol.

Even had a friend send me a $50 gift card. He bought the 50-pack and pulled Trout, Bellinger, and Ketel. I did the same and managed a JD Martinez and DJ LeMahieu. Maybe 20 just isn't my year lol.

Play showdown, the way people talk about it on here it's harder than going flawless on BR so shouldn't be too boring, and you can get the face of the franchise players quickly doing that

I am level 49 Bronze with 62 hours in DD and 5.5 in Franchise (March to October)

And I am just the opposite. I don't like online.

I've spent no money on the game (I work the market) so far I've put in 112 hours on DD mostly offline doing the conquest maps and missions, and 16hrs in RTTS. I'm at level 67 bronze.

Between son and I were are at roughly 100 hours. 80 of those are probably his lol

I played a dude who was at gold 23 last night. We are bronze 88 and he plays a lot, obviously. I cant comprehend how much someone needs to play to be gold 23 lol

collections, even getting 20 for every team will net you 30+ levels.

If you can hit, showdown is the quickest and cheapest way.
