Question about online home run derby

I just played a online game where 2 ppl hit over 500 ft homeruns at camden yards. The farthest ive hit is 460 how do they manage 500+? Thought that would only be possible at coors field. Also sometimes on my screen they would hit a ball thats clearly not a homerun yet it adds 1 to their score?
