Thanks for clarifying. I was super confused because mlb page on my phone shows games over with Toronto up 4 to 2 and I could not figure out what's going on. Guess the digital media guy went home early and forgot to update the score/play

How? Mookie Betts had 2 hrs yesterday and came back from a cracked rib a week ago. Cool, SDS sometimes. I was not hating just surprised.

Good for Suarez I guess but I didn't think they supercharged for walk off HRs.
I had kind of praised SDS for being consistent in their criteria on Supercharging up until now. So let's see if extra inning walk off HRs continue to get supercharged.

Yeah this kind of seems like a "we haven't supercharged anyone in a week". Before this you would only get supercharged for 3 HR's in a day, 20+ Hit streaks, cycles, no hitters, and 13k's(and Miggy). CGSO's seem to be next if this is supercharge worthy

I’m just repeating what they said on the Apple TV broadcast. They said his card in mlb the show would be supercharged.

I have a question is this the first 1hr supercharged card performance? If so is there one that hit 2 homers because I thought 3 dingers was the standard. Also the apple broadcast crew is terrible. It feels like they have never seen an actual baseball game in their life.

I thought Hunter Pence’s commentary was on point. That plus the actual call of Geno’s bomb was pretty epic. Good Vibes Only.
That said, I’ll be glad when the Jays leave town so I can hear Goldy again.

That is why SDS needs to be careful and consistent, otherwise it'll just open up a floodgate of why did you supercharge so-and-so for an extra inning walk off but did not do the same for this player when they did it.

I can’t help but think there is some kind of marketing program going on whereby every Apple TV Friday night game will have a player supercharged. Geno was the obvious choice last night but, I don’t think it has too much to do with how many home runs were hit.
