I'll take my walks when it happens, and yes I absolutely love that I walk in this game after so many years of not getting walked in baseball video games. But truthfully while trying to earn points, getting on base isn't a mission. I liked playing in AA more when I was getting fat pitches all the time. I had to put lucky 7 back on since making it to the show. Because I am working deep in counts nearly every AB.

Same here I hit on legend so I make them throw 6-8 pitches per at bat. My longest at bat was 23 pitches once

I used to swing away. If it’s close, I’m swinging…. But I have learned to appreciate the walk and am currently leading my team in walk rate percentage. There is a joy in getting a free bag and deflating the pitcher’s confidence.
