I have a two way SS and SP with a gold archetype and 4 diamond perks. I have pretty much every diamond equipment item as well and my stats are well into the 40s. My ballplayer is still only a 67 overall. How can I fix this?

Is that in DD or RTTS?
DD will show your player lower than it actually is. In game it will reflect your true stats.
Sounds like you should be in the mid to high 80s.
If it's in RTTS, it could be that you're dividing your loadout between SS and SP, which will show a lower ovr. It's always best to have different loadouts for different positions. In addition, certain archetypes give higher ovr with certain positions. Fielding for SS and control for SP.
When you are creating a player, have in mind what you want the player for. If it's solely for RTTS do what you want, try different things, ovr doesn't really matter except for making it to the show. If it's for DD, stay away from 2 way players. All it gives you is a pitcher that's good at hitting, but not as good at pitching. Whether you want a pitcher or a position player, you get a better player when the archetype, perks, and equipment match with your style of play. A good SS for DD would have the archetype of fielding and either speed or contact. SPs are typically rated highest as control and speed.

I do have separate load outs with hitting perks for SS and pitching perks for SP. I guess you’re saying it’s because I have the power and velocity archetype?
