3 OP Mini seasons teams?

I thought the Cats and Whales were the stacked teams. The Pinheads have all 95s and above now. It's a better challenge, just caught me off guard. Not complaining....I freely admit I'm not very good.

Changes every run I believe? I cant remember the team I just played (yellow logo?) that had like decent players in my first run this season, now have all bronzes and it really threw me off.
Using the 2nd run to grind some stubs/packs as warm ups (figured Id try and bang out the FOTF/XBH missions as I get enough wins to clinch/sim) but wondering if I should try suffering through 10 AS wins for the gold flashbacks.

Yeah, you reset the season and will get all new rosters for each team. Sometimes if you keep trying even the Cats and Whales aren't all top tier. Still all diamonds obviously. You can sometimes restart it and get a bunch of teams throwing silver and bronze pitchers at you. Helps me trying to win 10 games on All Star. I usually start of 10-1 or 10-2 regardless schedule and opponent team make up.

I had the opposite from my new season yesterday, cats and whales aren’t elite god squad cards, max 95 OVR. Ran across RJ once, but otherwise a fairly average competition across all teams.

I noticed after I posted this that the Whales were severely diminished. I wonder if their GM is cutting costs do he can move the team.

It's kind of fun to do the Bronze Hitter and Silver Pitcher missions (at the same time) as it levels the playing field a bit and makes it more interesting. #LukeVoitOwnsTheWhales

That's what I do.
I start off playing games on AS with Gold pitchers and FS lineup. After 10 wins I drop to Veteran with Bronze hitters and silver pitchers. Then after 25 hits I put FotF cards in the lineup. After that I finish up with rookie cards for 40XBH, since the FS cards are better cards, I like to use weaker cards on rookie.
What I can't squeeze in is 15 sac fly, but that's just a headliner pack so no big loss.

If they wanted to do something impossible, then it should be like for a 50 pack bundle to at least tempt people to try. Still not even sure how you “could” hit that many SFs

How many hits can you even get in a mini season, even if you're raking? and 15 of them have to be SAC flys? It's beyond stupid.

Yeah I like that they mixed it up with different missions but that one is beyond silly.

I have done all but Sac Fly so many times, I decided to put all rookie legends in for my last dozen games just to see if I can get it, I may not get all 40XBH, but I will try. It's the only way I think I can get all missions done in a season.

You can play the home games on AS using the Blank Canvas created stadium, you can hit HRs all day long.
But you are using gold pitchers sometimes again God squads, so you can also give up a lot of HRs.
I still suck with PPP, mostly on the critical release timing aspect, so I tend to leave a lot of hangers. So I actually end up playing at Capitol for home games on AS.

I probably should have thought of this. Plenty of time I guess to finish since I've put it on hold to get my RS innings grind in before monday. Only 50 innings shy of my first WS pack.

Interesting. I loved meter. Even once analog was introduced I thought it was buns and stuck with meter. PPP is life though...actually makes pitching feel more engaging IMO even if some of the results are questionable at times.

Yes, unquestionably I love PPP, but it has taken me down at least an entire difficulty level. In terms of having to win on DD. When I play franchise, it will be a bit more realistic that I make mistakes that get punished. But it's a lot of fun and something I wanted to see since the 2k days that had a similar interface.
