Isn’t .553 OPS a bad average? Serious question lol I play mini seasons a lot and if I don’t have a player above 1.000 OPS that means there not doing good for me but your playing online so that’s a different story.

If it is a bad average than how did you get to championship series lol

Pitching and grinding out a lot of 1-0 games.

I try to catch opponents being aggressive and making mistakes while trying to avoid those mistakes myself.

I thought I was a dumpster fire lately in hitting and I just looked at my OPS and I am at .740. Dude that's very impressive. Hats off to you since I haven't reached Championship Series this year yet.

I looked you up and [censored]. Actually your OPS is down to .548. That ERA of 1.91 is quite incredible.

I’m not that bad of a hitter on All Star difficulty. Probably average to below average. The second I get into the 700s and play on hall of fame my bat turns into a soggy toilet paper holder and I can’t hit for [censored]

I made championship series last season as well, so I started this season in the 700s, and have only played one game on all star difficulty, so my hitting has suffered horribly

Hes playing people with a .552 OPS.

Possibly. I don’t know what the opposing OPS is, but “the league” is batting .187 off me in 201.1 ip this season.

Update, I lost my last two games and I’m at 788 now. I knew it wasn’t sustainable lol

I am pretty similar….hit decent and then get to 700 and then it all goes downhill. I was at something like 788 yesterday and then played a riveting 1-1 game that went twelve and I lost on a weak comebacker that my pitcher didn’t even make an effort on. I think we both had three hits each into the twelfth. Figured I needed a few days rest before I try to hit sinkers at HOF again. LOL

Sounds exactly like my experience. We’re going to have to start a no hit support group

And if that ERA was a quarter point higher, I’d probably plateau at 720

Wow interesting I thought you were lying about being at .550 ops lol so your good at pitching what’s the key? Any pitchers you like in particular? And also what pitch type are your go to sliider, fastball, sinker etc?

I suck online but since I unlocked Randy Johnson like two week ago I finally played a H2H game earlier and won to my surprise 3-2. Granted my team was far superior to his though and I think I was playing in the 300-400 rank range.

I use each pitcher to their historical strength, try to tunnel pitches and keep guys off balance. Try to the throw the opposite of what they’re expecting at times.

I can’t wait to unlock Randy, big fan of his as a kid (as evidenced by my user name). I still have to complete Angels Braves and Mets. Im so jealous you have him.
