Why does the ball still bounce like a kids toy and cause more ground rule doubles than the entire history of MLB? Sorry for the anger but it just causes me a loss in battle royale.

Yeah this is definitely one area that needs completely redone

It’s funny when the base runners already know it’s a GRD and your like why the hell are they all running…. and then realize they knew the ball would bounce several feet after being just out of reach of the OF.
Same sort of thing used to happen with a dropped ball at the plate from the OF. The camera shifted slightly and you know it was an errant throw or the catcher was going to bobble it so you could just send the runners for free bases.
Mediocre Dev team

Yeah they definitely got some stuff wrong this year. When the ball should bounce (i.e. batted down balls at 3B that land right at the third basemens feet and he still manages to throw the 90+ speed guy out at first), it doesnt....but every time i hit a homerun, i see the ball bounce 20 feet in the air and end up back on the field.

I don’t know why the Most Interesting Man in the World popped into my head:
- He once hit a ground rule double over the Green Monster.
- He once hit a ground rule triple.

The perfect carom off the wall is another. A road outfielder somehow always gets not only it right, but the truest bounce that would make a golfer jealous

Ground rule doubles and pitchers snagging balls behind their back to me are the 2 biggest things I’d love to see changed. Not remove just scaled back

I'm seeing the pitcher twirling snag constantly all of a sudden.

The newest thing this year I have noticed is pegging the pitcher with a linedrive but then an infielder or even catcher field the ball and still throw the guy out a first base (even 90 plus speed guys). I just dumbfounded how gameplay has taken a step back this year. Defense last year was pretty true (although we still had the pitcher wall). Base running was also more accurate and speed was actually important. RNG on PCI was an issue last year, but this year even perfect perfect are caught on the warning track. I feel like they would have been better off copying and pasting the coding from last year.
