How to start a new Franchise with the current live roster?

Basically I'm trying to start Franchise mode with the most up-to-date current live roster. Obviously the roster won't change or stay live after starting it because that's not how the mode works but anyway, does anyone know how to start a Franchise with the current live roster please?

Load the roster, save it and load in when you start.

Load --> Rosters --> Load Live Roster.

Start a franchise with current rosters.

In perfect SDS fashion, they make this more convoluted than it needs to be. Just prompt the user to use the latest live roster when starting a new chise ffs...
