I have 200k stubs, but am going back and forth on whether to go for Trout. Outfield is my biggest need, and I only need Angels, Astros and Rangers to get Biggio.

What was trout’s price last year, did he stay above 200k for months? Are collections even worth it, or should I just save stubs and buy future inning bosses?

For example, should I just buy Ty Cobb and use him as an upgrade over Victorino?

Then I’ll have more to l upgrade other spots.

Trout stayed around 200k for the overwhelming majority of the last game cycle.

If you eventually want Mantle you are going to have to pony up and get him so might as well get it over with. I think the other high value cards like Bellinger. In the NL will drop

On a separate note I am looking at that Cobb, but I think there will be a better sig series. If not the price will drop and I will get home post Mantle.

Right now I have AL East. Working on West. Going Angels then Stros. Will finish the West then go Central starting with clev.

I will reassess the NL then.

No. Trout is not even close to worth it unless you are collecting Mantle.

This years Trout seems like the best Trout I’ve ever used as far as how the ball comes off his bat. His bat has a lot of pop this year.

He’s incredible this year, I just don’t know about the Stubbs...I got him day one and don’t think It was as expensive as he is now. But he has more power than last year and an absolute cannon in the outfield. Plus I’ve been able to rob a couple home runs with that climb up the wall animation haha. Oh and he gets the auto shift on for some reason so if people forget to turn it off you can end up with some easy triples

There will prolly be a fotf Trout down the line. So if you want him till then or you’re doing the al collections you could go for him. If you’re happy waiting for the fotf you can do that.

Take it from me. trout is a monster. I have mantle. If you are not going for biggio and or mantle then he is not worth locking in that many stubs. He is already on my bench half the time because there are so many good outfielders and we are only a couple weeks into the game. He will eventually be a permanent bench bat or not even in the lineup. I am also a huge Mike trout fan in real life. There will also possibly be no live series upgrades or inside edge for at least the next couple months if at all so the stats you see maybe how the card plays for the entire year which is a let down as well.

I have a funny feeling they were planing on using the presitage program to help make LS players more relevant in the end game. but that got shot down pretty quickly with the cornavirus. Maybe they will do something where you have to have the LS card and then do some missions to get an upgraded card
