How does the pause timer work?

Uh....when you pause, it counts down. If it hits 0, you (or your opponent) gets a free win.
Think it stats at 2:30 or 3mins and you add like 30 seconds every inning or something.
Its a terrible system. I can't see any reason why anyone needs more than 3 minutes total during a game in the menus. If you need a restroom break, do it before the game.

That’s a negative because just played a dude that used it all the way down to 20 seconds in the 3rd inning. Paused again in the 5th and had over 2 minutes. I just played a 9inning game that almost took an hour and a half to finish lol

I'd rather SDS cut the the timing in half. There were times I felt the other player was being toxic or griefing but there's no way to prove it.

This has been a gripe for years, and it really seems like the community as a whole is in agreement the pause time should be shortened. Actually surprised it hasn't budged.

It's nice when you have to pee or stop your kids from killing each other, but it's bad when trolls abuse it in hopes of making you quit.
