Completed Spring Clean Up & Big Dog Program .....

Time is not a luxury for me & I can only put anywhere from 1 to 3 hours a day into the game & trying to get many many things done with each Program Moment/Missions, Showdowns, Conquest Maps, MTO, RTTS, etc. etc. The final week of the Featured Program when Double XP kicks in is what allows me to easily get any remaining XP needed to complete the Featured Program. Prior to this weekend I was up to the Dog Pack Set 3 & was last pack I opened from the Featured Program. Over the weekend up until yesterday I grinded with the Double XP Bonus to finish the Featured program. I then went to my inventory to open all of those HL packs, BIAH' packs & Show packs which came in bundles of 3, 5 & 20. NONE OF THEN CONTAINED NOT 1 SINGLE DIAMOND PLAYERS & NOT 1 SINGLE CHASE PACK!!!!!
It was still early enough yesterday & I chose to grind out the Big Dog Program. From all the packs earned & opened from that Program ... NOT 1 SINGLE DIAMOND PLAYERS & NOT 1 SINGLE CHASE PACK!!!!! However the way I went about to gain the Big Dog PxP Missions was by doing Mystery Map 4 times over. It took me that many times because I only had 3 Big Dog Hitters I was able to use in my Line-Up and they each didn't do much on their turn to hit. It was Pretty much Kluber & Ottavino that earned most of the PxP for me. I used both of them in every game. From the 20 packs I got from doing the Mystery Map 4x over .... It was from these 20 that I finally pulled 2 Diamond Players which was Kershaw & Verlander. Both running around the 15K Stub range in the market. Nothing of good value to sell & & add to my existing Stubs to help me buy any of the remaining 5 I need to finish my LS Collection which is Trout, Ohtani, Acuna, Tatis & DeGrom.
I been reading several posting in here how they have gotten good Diamond pulls from Pack rewards coming from back end of Spring Clean UP & as well from Big Dog Program. And how they have gotten 1 or 2 Chase Packs & pulled Delgado or their 2nd Pujols or getting that 2HH Marte. This was giving me hope that I would be able to do the same. Even if I didn't pull any of the 5 I needed, at least if Delgado, Pujols or Marte (even at least LS J-Ram, Mad Max or Vlad Jr) was pulled, I could have sold it & easily could have bought at least 1 of the 5 I need, if not even 2 if possible.
However luck with Packs never seem to change with me. Always the same freaking rotten lousy luck. It is so freaking frustrating.

I did the same. Stored up all the packs to have a big pack opening party. Not one diamond. Out of like 90 to 100 various packs. But I have pulled diamonds as well so I know it is just RNG luck. I don't think I am going to save a bunch up anymore though. Going to open them as I get them.
It is very hard to get LS completed this year for me so far. Less content. And time gating rewards , or adding drawn out grind to cover for less content. Tough game this year. -
did you sell the bronze and silvers?
i completed mini season the other day and only got a couple QS golds out of it but made about 8-10 k on all the rest you get -
I didn't get anything special from all those packs from the programs either. It happens.

Got the Rare Round with my Set 3 Pack from Spring Cleaning last night. Took Yelich.

I swear I have had better pulls from standard packs than HL, BIAH, etc this year.

I got the base round of Big Dog, except once.
I had only 2 hitters for the program and had the pitchers do most of the work as well, with Jack Leiter, Grove, Ottavino, & Street. I let all pitch 3 innings at least with one getting the three inning save to add to their PXP.
I did get lucky from a Conquest run, pulling Salvy, Kershaw, and Buehler.
I also have pulled Acuna Jr. and Tatis Jr. in consecutive weeks. Acuna was from a Ballin' is a Gold pack.
You may get a lucky run of packs.

Never expect to get those packs with Diamond players and be happy when you do.

The money is no longer in the diamonds unless it is the big four (Trout, Ohtani, Degrom, and Acuna). I have found that I profit most from free packs by the expensive commons, bronzes and silvers. It takes a little time to go through your binder but those packs spit out stubs just not from diamond pulls.

OP, the first program was like that for me. Couldn’t a single thing. This one combined with the monthly program and big dog, managed to pull shohei twice and acuna.
I guess odds end up where they should in the end

I pulled Acuna last week.....but a whole lot of squat since. Pulling Acuna is a big deal and even though that should be what i think about.....i cant help but be bummed about a week of packs with 4 free agents and a bronze.
I think its just how our minds work. No matter how good a pack is....if the next one sucks we are bummed again instantly.
The packs are weighted with odds.....odds against getting something good.....its just how it has to be or we all would have the best players and the chase would end....and we would be bored.
Just know, something great is probably around the corner.....enjoy playing the game, and let packs be a bonus. If you get something awesome, if not, use what you got. Its about playing baseball first and foremost.....dont let the packs ruin the reason we are here.
I think about it wrong all the time.....but we have to keep reminding each other..... -
