nothing changed.it has to go 9 innings to be official. Pirates didnt bat in the 9th.

nothing changed.it has to go 9 innings to be official. Pirates didnt bat in the 9th.
sucks twice.It was a no hitter though. Only the 6th ever to end in a loss. Just because they werent the home team dont change that. Well technically its "didnt allow a hit".
On a side note. Albert Pujols got rocked tonight. 4 ER in 1IP. 36.00 ERA

Hard to believe that a guy scorching it over the plate at 50 mph would give up some runs. Of course he was 2-3 at the plate with 2 walks, two runs scored and an RBI so things balanced out.

Whats crazy is if you pitch 9 hitless but go to the 10th and give up a hit it isnt a no hitter either.
