Say for simple base hit and I'll have a runner on first, ball goes to outfield clearly a base hit but instead of immediately running to second these dumb AI baserunners immediately run back to first and sit there. Causing the most idiotic play ever at 2nd base. This happens all the time too.... is this happening to anyone else? Is there a fix for it?

Go into settings and take base runners off of "auto". You will now have full control of every base runner you have on base. The CPU will NOT decide who runs with when & where. It's all up to you.

Its so they can keep the game scripted. Back in 16, you had full control of your runners. They went to war over that.

Except for the runners on 2nd lol. They return no matter what. Sometimes I am mashing advance all and then have 2 runners on 2nd because he had to go back first and then wait to advance when the cpu would let him. Because they only other option is assist. We need a manual option.

This does not work 100% the Stevie wonder's still stand around or return to a base when not prompted to.

Bad job using Stevie Wonder there. Super talented man. R & B LEGEND!!
If you know R & B, you know the impact he made not only as a singer, but writer and producer in the music biz as a blind man
    Show a little respect.

I had a runner on third NOT run on a line single to center last night!!!!
I think if you have 'Assisted' baserunning on, they act brain dead as well. It's like they don't want you to score, sometimes.

It's so frustrating. I know the feeling! I think this glitch is only happening in DD for offline players. If you play RTTS or Franchise then it is ok with the option to use Auto, Assist and No Auto/Assist. SDS Please fix this on DD!

Bro be quiet bout the show respect, Stevie wonder is a well known blind man. He didn’t say anything about him in a disrespectful way. He just said the base runner is blind. Goodness ppl like you make life so difficult. I can understand if he put Stevie down but he didn’t. Dang lol

I come here 95% of the time to make people laugh.
He called the baserunners 'Stevie Wonders.' That's not disrespectful?
Go back and read what he typed before you open your mouth before a doo doo biscuit flies in, ya bloomin' 🙃

Go cry in the corner you sound like a snowflake something tells me you're way too old to be a snowflake. I was talking about the base runners being clueless on the base path. You're taking it somewhere that it's not. Grow up be a man or is that offensive too?
