As a person who dislikes Showdowns I can say that this one is very easy and a pretty cool concept. It is 4 red boss rounds with no blue mini rounds. 2 lefties and 2 righties. There is no way to enter the final round down by more than 2 with 12 outs.

I would love the showdowns if it was all boss rounds.

That was the easiest showdown i've ever done. I really don't like them but didn't mind that one.

Believe in years prior they have added missions to programs like this, so may be an opportunity down the road.
Their approach is allowing everyone to earn every card, so wouldn’t expect them to limit it to this single pathway.

I don’t play showdown much, if at all. Are they always so “scripted”? I mean, I had a guy in second who didn’t advance on a single to RF. I had a DP on a “penguin dive” by an OF. A runner thrown out at third on a fly out to the warning track in CF.
Felt like I was being made to follow a script before I could advance.

Took me 3 tries but I did notice I could get to final pretty quickly.

I would greatly prefer this just not be the case at all (I REALLY hate Showdowns), but if they insist, Showdowns required to complete programs should be free. You shouldn't have to pay to try to complete a player program.

I don't get it. I know that everybody gets different results but I am a an offline only player who almost never plays above veteran and I am mostly a center swinger and I finished it on my first attempt, including several HRs in the final Boss battle.
So it always seems strange to me to see players who are better than I am struggle with these types of moments and showdowns.

I’m not a fan of showdowns..only did the Ray one this year and Bieber last year. I was able to get this one on first full run. I quit immediately on first try after a double play that shouldn’t have been.
I loaded up on LHH first, but make sure to have Pablo. He was my MVP of the run for sure. Once I got to Franco I had Bobby, another RHH and Pablo 1-2-3 with a slew of LHH afterwards. Be patient with Franco, throws a lot of slow hanging stuff so once you time that it isn’t too bad.
I’m also about 9 Big Dog packs deep (all free) and have yet to pull the rare round on any
