    Buddy............you need to practice more.

So you can practice your way out of an AI error ? Or a glitch ? Just practice until the programming glitch doesn’t happen ? Game has issues bro, and they need to be addressed...

Classic SDS fan boy response. The game is garbage so far and no amount of “practice” is going to fix that.

Dude, they will fix it like they do with every release...the game usually gets good at around mid May, that's when I start my franchise 🙂 Sometimes its hard to make a game that's acceptable for Sim players and also noob/casuals/online players....just give it some time buddy, go have a hot pocket and relax.

    You can't practice away broken

Right but you can practice enough that you can fight through broken. Get consistent at squaring it up and you will win more. But only bc of law of averages not because hitting is “better”. Hitting sucks, it feels like a slightly better version of last year and last year sucked ( or whatever year you lined out over and over)

Nah dude. By mid May the hitting will be nerfed even more and everyone will have several high diamond pitchers with absurd per nines and it will be back to a 1-0, 2-1 “slugfest”. I’ve always thought that those numbers shouldn’t be relevant. If square it up the per nines should have zero outcome on it. Also confidence is broken too, the ball doesn’t come off as hard with high confidence and vice versa. That should only affect accuracy of pitches. And yes I know pitching is kinda broken too

For several years, the devs have focused on making it easier to make contact with the ball, perhaps because they decided that putting the ball in play is more fun than striking out. Players with poor vision and high power like Joey Gallo are extremely unbalanced as a result and are the most desirable type of player since TS 18. Guys who whiff in half of their at bats IRL cover the entire strike zone in this game, and that's the way the game makers like it.

The ball is put into play far more frequently in these games than in real life, however the batting average on balls in play is much lower in the video game because they want to keep up the appearance of a simulation of the sport. They have to nerf the hitting outcomes or else every game is a football score.

I just lost a game due to a just late okay opponent Taco by Reggie Jackson in the bottom of the 6th. The next 7 of my 9 outs remains were good good or higher for outs . But hey I’ll still play cause I’m a glutton for punishment

I just hope they don't noobify the game too much going forward, I mean we have RBI Baseball for that, which I honestly believe some of the people complaining in this room should be playing instead of this game. 🙂
