You have to steal fans. I stole 2-3 games on AS then finished on vet. I worked clockwise, only targeting strongholds immediately.

I just played every game on allstar and then did then last game on rookie.

You have to steal fans. I stole 2-3 games on AS then finished on vet. I worked clockwise, only targeting strongholds immediately.
Did you capture around the Yankees first and then play the game or just went straight to the game and played? I’m trying to figure out how to get the other areas on the map without running out of turns

Steal fans on Vet vs NYY take them out first play on Vet or AS, go down to the Mets steal Fans on Vet if you can steal on AS. i SIM my games until I got to them, I took a Risk cause I ended up playing them on AS if I would have played the extra games I could have played them on VET. Then take out BAL again steal fans if needed depending level you want to play on. Then you will just have to take out the Cubs and ATL, You need to take over 3 strongholds before the 5th turn. This is how I did it, Once BAL was finished I took out ATL and sim games. Then I took out CHC and sim more games, Got it done in about 10 turns, I played ATL and Cubs on Rookie or Vet.

I always do Conquest slowly with many turns. -
I didn't have to steal any fans. Played all but the last one on AS. Finished in 10 or 11 turns I believe.

You only have to steal fans if you do not want to play on AS.

Play it though on Vet, steal fans a much as possible and takeover blank spots in the process to distribute more fans on next turn. Yankees in turn 1...i think, Mets in turn 3, and 3rd stronghold in 5 turns. Take over the map by or on 13th turn.

I feel it's not worth the effort.
To me it was not that bad, you just play a few extra games and can still play all the games on Vet. Playing extra games and do some of the mission at the same time. That is what I did. It was not that much effort.

Capture Yankees on first turn, move south, steal on AS and then capture the next (Mets I think?). Then move left as far, steal on AS, then capture (think I had to capture on AS as well). After that direct run to strongholds and only needed vet to finish.

To me it was not that bad, you just play a few extra games and can still play all the games on Vet. Playing extra games and do some of the mission at the same time. That is what I did. It was not that much effort.
I had it done! But, I blew it by going for the last stronghold before taking all hexagons. Was at 11 turns, but lost a few sims so had to reinforce and attack, then reinforce again putting me at 14 turns. It can be done, but I messed up at the end.

Beat yanks on allstar, steal twice against Mets then played them on rookie, steal against cubs play them on veteran, then just steal and advance against o's or braves and beat them on veteran. Told 11 turns but could have finished or turn 9 or 10. Very rough to begin with then so easy, hardest was facing mets.....that was the real trial
