This happened to me in a showdown run. I still won, but was pretty annoyed nonetheless.

Oh this is a glitch that only occurs when players try to reach the playoffs without playing a full season of Franchise and earning it with every pitch, its like a kick in the [censored] I know of trying to take a noob short cut, I wouldn't recommend it friends.
