I'm a alienware aw2521hf monitor. It want allow me to turn vrr in ps5 settingsAccording to Dell that monitor is both Freesync and Gsync compatible, maybe look for it in the monitor settings and turn it on before turning it on in the PS5 settings?
Yo Rae’s I have a monitor that can go 165 HZ, does that mean I turn it on automatic or off for enable 120 hz output?

Yo Rae’s I have a monitor that can go 165 HZ, does that mean I turn it on automatic or off for enable 120 hz output?
You set it to automatic in the PS5 menu to get 120hz. You can't play online though, if you do so. If you want to play online you have to set it to off and you can only use 60hz.

Dang that’s awful, so there isn’t much we can do then besides turn it off right? I read something about that hdmi 2.1 cable if that’s something I should look into.

Dang that’s awful, so there isn’t much we can do then besides turn it off right? I read something about that hdmi 2.1 cable if that’s something I should look into.
No, if your monitor is not HDMI 2.1 compatible than just a HDMI cable that supports 2.1 isn't going to do anything. Basically this is a problem caused by the game, because we can use 120hz for other games and Xbox users apparantly CAN play online using 120hz. So I guess we have to be patient and see what SDS has to say about it.

Ahh I gotcha I’ve been so lost reading post and definitely didn’t know what to do. Hopefully something soon is said, I’m really doing my best to not quit this year. And thank you for the help again Raes you’re help is always valued.

Also people are upset because sds hasn't addressed the community.
SDS never addresses the community unless it has to do with stub purchases.
