Yup, in 9 months, the new one can have an opportunity too. Gonna take him a while to develop the motor skills though and then all that formula to begin with.

I just need to change his MLB User name and it will be fine. I can’t believe they are making it this difficult to change. I even had Nintendo refund my purchase, and rebuy the game but the user name was the same. This is an easy fix if The Show or SDS would help. It’s just my 11 year old playing, I feel bad for him. The username is messed up, I’m pretty pissed at his friend for doing it. I don’t understand why MLB Support won’t help me.

If you also have another version of the game, on xbox or PS, you could create account on it and then link the Switch to the new account. Other than than maybe creating a second user on the Switch and starting over.

I play myself and got my son into it ! With all this going on he doesn’t even want to play on his switch with the deluxe version I bought him. He wants to use that. I can’t do anything for him with my account. Is it just me or is this kinda crazy I can’t change his username for him ?! Sounds like a pretty simple concept ?! I’ve changed my username on my show account ?? What’s going on ?

That won't really help. He'll get banned eventually from being reported.
Should have been a supervised activity, creating that online account name. I don't want to be that guy here, but it's important to teach kids that stuff like this represents who they are.

I linked my switch to my PS5 account. But I would think you could just create a new nintendo ID with a different email address and go that route.

Ask the friend how he did it, or did he create it for your son?

No I was being sarcastic ! Coming to this forum for help from The Show staff/community and then having a bunch of fat, smelly suck bags living in the basement of their moms house run their mouth about my 11 year old just showed me how much MLB The Show staff and support care !! Nobody from SDS or The Show has attempted to help yet but thank you to the few decent people on here who tried !

When creating an online profile for an 11 year old or 10 year old, yeah... I supervise. My sweater, trolly and land of make believe all in tow.

When you boot up MLB on the switch for the first time, it asks if you want to connect to an existing Show account or create a new one. It's at this stage, that you are creating a new MLB username. It cannot be changed.
Unfortunately, I can't give a resolution, because it wasn't changed. It was created that way. Sorry to burst any bubbles here.
Good luck as I would expect SDS to want to help here.
