Just an observation on the game so far. I'm not mad, it is what it is. I just spent approximately 8+ hours grinding the event. I got a Tim Salmon (I tried in RS but likely won't use any more) and nothing but base out of big dog and nothing out of headliners and 5 packs in the last 15 wins. I would have felt the grind worth it just with one rare that I would actually use in RS.

RS is a grind and even IF you get to the WS, the reward isn't worth it. Not even getting into the 400 innings.

At this point even if I wanted to attempt to do the collections it would probably be fall before I got there. I have played the last few events, 35 games of RS, both BR runs and a slew of other things. Haven't bought any packs. I don't think if I sold everything I could get Trout. If I sold everything in the 30 win event I just did, I might have 50k stubs for that. That isn't even half of the top 7 LS players.

The first 3 seasons of BR and RS weren't worth it last year either, but this game is more fresh I suppose. There are like 4 good event rewards a year max too

I do. He should get a perfect game card near the end that would be 125/125.

I will say I am glad they are not rolling out 99's this year. The lineup diversity and different pitching rotations is quite refreshing. Props to them for that.

Going to see if I can make a run at WS tonight and possibly tomorrow.

I'm fine with a perfect game card being maxed tbh. The no hitters should be up there also, but we need far far fewer.

I agree. Also with the supercharged it adds a lil spice to it as well. I never play events or BR. Competitive games should be 9 innings. Or at least 6 innings for events and BR.

It's best they just leave them out completely. Starters with 125 H/9 make more cards "unusable" then it should. H/9 was barely a topic of conversation before last year. I went back and looked at MLB 20s H/9s on cards a while back and the only starters that had over 110 were finest, the 2 no hitter topps nows and Awards Scherzer

PCI was bigger in TS20 due to this.

Id be fine with the sp cards capped at 115 again.

It's not the PCI size thats the concern though. In 21 you were at complete disadvantage of you didn't use Degrom, Verlander etc on the mound or someone with 125 contact at the plate. Card variety is good. 125 H/9 starting pitchers causes less card variety

Edit, fixed my rant that wasn't on topic.

The game is good so far. I just don't put too much thought into collections any longer. The rewards will come eventually.

Based on what we saw with Pedro last year, I'm gonna go ahead and say no. This is gonna be his best card.

They aren't though, you see the same 6 teams because they still have to sell stubs. Sorry wrong quote.

I think for sure. If they give him a D Backs card it would have to be a 99 and better than his current card. But it would probably be much later so LS collection guys dont complain. Maybe Nov- Dec.
