MLB pitch speeds

Did pitch speeds increase this year? I'm 7-0 in ranked, so I think I'm in veteran but I cant touch 102 at this difficulty in ranked. In MLB 20 I was able to tee off Nolan Ryan on Hall of Fame. I just can't keep up if they keep increasing speeds every year.

Are you using zone? If so, switch to Timing hitting. They made it so easy and rewarding you’ll feel like your cheating.

I don't know about velocity...but the movement I think needs nerfing. As a pitcher I know Changeups have some break depending on how you pronate your hand on release...but some of these changes have way too much drop, sliders are either flat meatballs, or frisbees with way to much lateral...but I mean there's a couple pitchers with sliders like that so meh. Fastballs are "humping up" on release almost like breaking balls and then straightening out, which makes pitch recognition way more difficult. I think the only pitches that seem to be on point are the cutters, and sinkers.

What is "timing" hitting
A hitting mode that allows people to throw blame onto when they lose.

Timing its people like you that's wrong with this game ...looking for the easy way to a win - you say rewarding it takes any challenge out of the game and in my opinion it has ruined it for us players who use zone and earn our hits.

Go to custom batting practice and set it to one difficulty higher than what you are playing at and practice at whatever you are weak at.
