I don't think online play is good for my health
-
I seem to get so flustered/frustrated playing someone online.
Which sucks as there's no way for me to earn any cards tied to those modes.
-
I mean, technically there is since you can buy them, whereas people who don't like to play singleplayer are locked out of a lot of cards unless they play
But I know it's not feasible to just buy all the online cards
-
I mean, the game is pure randomness and that causes frustration.

I'm the same way honestly. I take it too seriously and it's more stressful than fun. I play 95% offline and last year I had no problem getting all the cards. Just do all the content, grind US and mystery map, and grind mini seasons.

When Mini Seasons works.
But my main point, which I should've went into more detail, is that I can't earn them so I can turn around and sell them so I can get stubs to use towards the LS Collection.
That was going to be my main goal this year; but since I won't be playing after this weekend, it's a moot point.

Where is this mystery map? Never done conquest before.

Is there is mystery map???

Frustrated ? Why ? the gameplay is awesome and people's playing the game are very kind..... now you can clearly see how this game is bad for my mental health... haha

It’s not the online play itself, it’s how you handle it.
-
BR > RS
Shorter games, no god squads, most pitchers are silvers or bronzes, program is workable.
400 innings facing pitchers who rarely throw strikes? No thanks.

You have to have the mindset that its no big deal if you lose or get embarrassed. Its a hard mindset to get into if its not organic. Cant just fake that you dont care. The better you are though the easier it will be to do it. Maybe practice hitting on legend in custom for hours until all star looks like rookie coming down the zone. And do events instead of ranked so you dont have a record to worry about. As someone who plays 2k and madden as well, the toxicity in mlb is almost nonexistent. In 2k if youre bad youre gonna get a message after the game telling you. Thats rare in mlb. This community is great and when you realize that it makes it more tolerable. I know the conundrum you deal with though about online anxiety. Ive dealt with it before but honestly just power into it and itll get better.

Bingo lmao this isn’t life or death

Never much got into events, but it helps build your I don’t care muscle. Used to feel my pulse jump after mu first flail at a slider a foot off the plate

You can play offline which i do 95% of the time, finish the collection then save your stubbs for when the HRD packs drop in 2.5 months then buy all of those nice rewards at a 75%ish discount.
This doesnt work if you buy packs however.

Yeah, won't be doing much RS this year. Last year, my first going full-on DD, burnt me to a crisp. My own fault. I'll work the BR programs, dabble in events, and just enjoy collecting the cards I want. I'm Tatis away from the LS collection, then I'll be good for a while.
I'm a franchise guy at core, and even though SDS has completely neglected that mode, I'll be there a lot more this year. Lots of great young players to develop until the regression code kills everything.

At the first taste of frustration during RS, I leave the mode. Sometimes I can get only one game in. Sometimes I can rattle out 3-4 during a play session.
Accepting the fact that winning or losing really doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of life, goes a long way to managing RS internal rage.
I used to get bent, pissy and frustrated. Maybe being older allows me to give less turds these days.

I think your repeated complaining and whining is bad for everyone's health.
-
I want to get into BR...but my experiences in RS over the years have soured me quite a bit being honest...I remember when Ddos'ing people was common place, lag switchers etc...the "the win at all costs" crowd and general toxicity of the community at the time is what ruined it for me, I'll likely barely make it out of ST rankings if I do, I'll admit I'm not super skilled...something that may change when I play more but still.

Please enlighten me on how the title of this thread and my original post shows that I'm complaining or whining?
