Getting into a co op lobby
-
One quick fix I found for getting into a lobby and then it gets stuck to where you can’t click start at the lineup screen:
Seems like this happens when one player in the lobby doesn’t see the lineup screen and is stuck at the opponent found screen. Ex. 2v2 me and my buddy got into a lobby and every game we got into wouldn’t let me click start. Asked my buddy if he can see the lineup screen after the 10th time searching and he said he could not and is stuck at the opponent found part. So asked him to dashboard and he could see the lineup screen every time. Granted this problem will still happen if someone on the other team can’t see the lineup screen and they will never get into a game until the person that can’t see the lineup dashboards. This can also happen to the host where they can’t see the lineup but their teammate can which makes no sense in which I had to dashboard. But consistently getting into more games without it saying failed.Other reason it’s hard to get into the lobby is because they actually show you who your pitcher is at the lineup screen before they send you to an illusion of choice screen to pick your pitcher. On the lineup screen whoever it is at the SP is your starter no matter who you pick every single time.

What do you mean by dashboard? This issue is the only one we run into now. You know right away you will lock out when you can't ready up at lineup screen. I kept thinking it's a servers issue, as nothing else is done differently when it does allow you to ready up. What exactly are you doing to get around it? We got like three straight games in, but then the above inevitably starts

When I say dashboard I mean like quit out of the game completely to the dashboard. I’m not sure if how else to explain it. Like kill the app/game to restart it

Xbox is kinda dumb with the quick resume to where I’ll quit out of the game and open up another one real quick to get pass the quick resume thing the back to mlb. I’m on Xbox though obviously not sure how the ps5 works but I’m sure it’s the same concept

And the game locking out is probably a server issue but you can tell who is having the problem with the server when they can’t see the lineup screen and whoever can’t see the lineup screen needs to dashboard/ quit out of the app and reset to reset server connection. The person that is causing the failed challenge message is the one who cannot see the lineup screen and is stuck at opponent found. Not saying this is the fix just stuff we have to jump through hoops for cause they don’t test their game
