Tried to play last night after I had a really fun game on solo (even though it was a loss). No glitches. No issues or complaints about mechanics or gameplay. No freeze off. Was quality.

One friend left, he was banned. Couldn't get him back in. I guess at least we got the win because we were already in the lead but my God, man ........this is insane.
We have given up. My friends are playing other games. I can't convince them to play anymore and I wouldn't bother.
With season 2 and card removal approaching for competitive play I think I'm done.
Never had the freeze offs this bad in 23. Captains worked in 23. Didn't see pitcher glitches.

You can add me on psn and I could quickly walk you through on how to do it and it’ll take less than a few mins! Easier than typing the solution lol

works for coop freeze offs everytime.

Join a party with coop partner, have the non cooldown player go into ranked coop and from there go to your party screen and click invite to game and it’ll allow the player with a cooldown to played ranked even with a timer. I know your title says freezing but that’s the fix for coop freeze offs and works 100 percent of the time just a friendly tip in case you guys were unaware of it.

Day 1 problem that they’ll never fix

Just keep trying. It happens to me and my coop partner a lot. If the other team quits or disconnects before the loading screen happens you'll get this error. It also just happens so if you try again after closing the game or restarting console you should be able to get back in. It's a pain but just a glitch in MOST cases.

Co-op is the worst game mode for bugs and glitches. There's nothing you can do but stop playing or slog through it

While the ball is in the air on the way to the catcher, tap the button once. I was pressing it too early and was trying to hold it and was having trouble as well. Tapping the button will lead to less problems than holding and If your issue is the timing, tap the button once after the ball leaves the pitcher's hand (not any earlier).

If you wanted to try hard enough to make it work you can get all 6 of you, set up your two teams and when you search set your batting to Hall of Fame and your hitting to all star or legend and then hit search at the exact same time keeping the skill slider as low as possible.
This will basically rig the matchmaking to put your two teams together.

It's [censored] horrible you have to do that but that's how SDS built the game.

@kingcarl2012 that's was mostly sarcasm as the devs don't seem to give a [censored] but thank you really for the link. I've submitted a couple different ones now.
