Trout Price - Will it go up?
-
If I sell my 6 'Face of the Franchise' auctionable cards, I'd have enough to grab him.
But is it worth selling those cards? TIA
-
FOTF card prices will continue to drop…especially with double xp coming next weekend.

If there’s a stub sale he’ll go up, if there is a pack sale, he’ll go down. I’d bet on the pack sale, it’s the better way for SDS to make stubs without giving away free coins to investors.
It also seems like people don’t care as much about the LS cards this year. Prices are reaaaaaaly low. Like the Dodgers are half of what I thought they might be at this point and if not for Trea Turner they’d be really cheap. Could be one of the cheaper Trout years. Also guys are just closer to him than ever before.

It's the new quick sell values I believe.

I think with FotF cards have played a role. I believe many players are okay with a cheaper Trout/Acuna Jr. etc. stats may not be as good but they are much cheaper and easier to obtain so people may not be as eager for the LS.

That is part of it I also think that the game not spooning out crazy amounts of cards and stubs like it did last year is contributing too

He'll hover around where he is now until his bat gets hot....by then, once the 1st BIG collection drops and stub sale hits, his price will likely go up 100k or so for a few months. Dont be surprised also if Vlad Jr. starts to catch up with Trout in Price as well.

This has been historically the case as well. Teams with high diamonds and low diamonds will see every diamond that isn't the highest be far lower than it would be on other teams.
-
Historically Trout was the only diamond on the Angels collection. The Angels collection price is in line with where it was in previous years, but now 150k stubs are being siphoned off towards Ohtani. This is good for the 99.9% who likely won’t pull a Trout card till the end of the season…sucks for you though.
Hold for the stub sale inflation. Besides, it’s not like you are going to find anyone better for your lineup/OF.
