Bo Jackson

The announcers make reference to Bo, so im assuming he is coming into game at some point?
-
Not necessarily. They talk about Jeter every time Bogaerts comes to the plate too, and I would be shocked if he were in the game this year. Whether you think he is overrated or not, Jeter would be too big of a name to not promote pre-launch.

I could be wrong, but I think rights to names, and rights to likeness are separate

I see his card as the Anime series collection reward.
As a baseball player he was way above average without being exceptional. Danny Tartabull, his teammate in that Royals OF was almost as good.
As a football player he was a man amongst boys. His marketability as a two sport superstar made him a superstar who outshined his 2 football/baseball player contemporaries…Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan. Of the 3, Jordan was the only one better at baseball than football.
Unfortunately, his marketing makes him a bigger baseball name than his performance on the field had earned him.
I could also see an anime series Michael Jordan prospect card.

I don’t think that’s true. Outside of Yankee fans, Jeter isn’t very well liked and that goes for pretty much any Yankee. I do think Jeter and Bo Jackson will both be in the game. Bo Jackson is almost a lock in my opinion.

As a Braves fan I would love a Deion Sanders card. He ruled Atlanta in the early 90’s when he played for the Falcons and Braves. He probably would have been WS MVP in 1992 if we would have beat Toronto.
