Valid question that I’ve also asked before. My take is probably different from others’, but I do indeed care if the way I’m playing is perceived as cheap. A large part of the community sees the submarine delivery pitching CAP as cheap. For this reason, I use my CAP as a positional player.

I don't think they are cheesy because everyone can use one. Now if we're talking about a 7 ft tall underarm throwing pitcher that hits 102 mph on his fastball and then hits 60 MPH on his change up that's a different story lol. I usually use my cap at shortstop because that is the weakest position for the first month or two and then I will use regular cards as the big boys start coming out.

They are fine. I use a catcher every year. Just don’t do a submarine pitcher that throws 100 mph. Bad etiquette. Do something realistic.

People complain about CAPs and that their favourite player isn’t in the game. Truly astonishing.

Caps should be fine early in the game cycle. By summer they will easily be outclassed, so don’t invest heavily on equipment and perks for your Ballplayer.

Caps were the foundation of DD. Definitely fine to use. Especially now that they take work to build and like mentioned above arent really too popular once all the nice cards start coming out.

A lot of the content creators used CAP's last year. I haven't seen them much this year, though.

Yes I think that CAP pitchers are cheesy but lucky for me I hit submariners well. I put mine at LF. Thanks for replying.
