Timing swings shouldn’t be allowed in my opinion because it makes the game uncompetitive.

Makes it uncompetitive for the person using it, sure. I'll gladly take my win

Man I'm telling you timing is garbage. Please just go try it lol. Jump on an online game and see how it goes. I was a timing(pure analog) exclusively up until last year and I can't tell you how much my game has improved by switching.

When you use timing the cpu just randomly throws your pci somewhere. It's only good for franchise if you are a pure sim fan (which I do every year when I get burnt out on DD)

    Good luck buddy

You can get to CS using directional, but you won't get any further and every so often along the way you'll face someone who absolutely destroys you.

I always laugh when people actually think timing or directional are legitimate options for higher difficulties online. It also shows that they don't think at all about disabled gamers.

And please prove to me how ya know your opponents are using timing? Also, directional and timing won't do ya much good at higher levels (HoF and higher)

Facts right here. Timing and directional can bail you out but you are really at the mercy of the programing. I switched to zone last year and it is clearly the way to go. Takes some practice, but stick skills directly relate to hard contact. Now whether the CPU wants to make that hard contact into a lineout, fly ball or homerun is a different issue.

It’s the “bail you out” part that has no place in online games. How is that competitive when the CPU is doing half the work for you?

Why should I bother. You're like a child, even if I showed you undeniable proof of something you would just close your eyes and look away. Disabled gamers deserve to play online too if they want to.

Resorting to insults when asked about your claim doesn’t help your case.

So what's the go-to hitting style for wanting to get better at the game? I'm an Xbox user so The Show is still fairly new to me on this platform. (only played 1 month last year) Is it the default placing the circle where the pitch goes method?

    Forgive my ignorance.

Step 1 Get on youtube and find some hitting tips videos.
    Step 2 Practice
