Mode-Specific Commentary

Just curious. I've noticed kind of a lack of mode-specific commentary. For example in Conquest in Diamond Dynasty, when you win a game and take over a stronghold it doesn't get acknowledged. March To October-themed commentary is a little sparse too compared to last year. Strange. Not a complaint mind you as I think they were trying to go more realistic with the game but it's just odd. There's not even a traditional introduction when starting up a Conquest game. You only hear Jon when the screen shows the dugout before the first pitch. Little weird.

Probably not. I’m guessing they weren’t recorded at all.

Probably not. I’m guessing they weren’t recorded at all.

Shame. It's not a deal-breaker but the immersion is hurt a little.

Absolutely agree.

There was a player lock post-game one. Kind of stands out in amongst the silence which breaks the immersion even more.

And I know this isn’t mode specific but referring to the pitcher as ‘the righty’ or ‘the lefty’ as they are pitching instead of their name sticks out like a sore thumb. Better to have nothing.

I mean they name-drop the pitcher at the start of an AB so I don't get why they don't mid-AB. It's too small to be a problem though, I barely notice it. Just adjust it next year.
