What’s the deal with runners automatically returning to original base on contact?

    Ever since about November (Show 21) runners automatically began running back to their original base on batter contact. This issue has carried over onto 22.
    This is an animation that needs to be fixed! It absolutely makes no sense why this should happen, particularly when the user should have control of the runners. How can a runner return to a base with two out on batter contact? Ball drops or rolls into the infield or outfield for an easy force at 2B.
    @DSS please patch this!

    @Doctor_Raf_PSN I totally agree. Plus when a pitch is in the dirt why does the runner on 2nd dive back to the bag? After that animation there's no chance in trying to advance him.
