Linking switch to xbox

This morning I tried to link my switch account (bought the highest edition on switch) to my xbox account (free gamepass version) and although I got my data for RTTS, I lost all my cards in diamond dynasty on my switch. I have been playing all early access so I have lost quite a bit.... any help is greatly appreciated!

I would also like to add I am just looking to have my diamond dynasty progress show up on both consoles!

I have the same set up as you and was able to get it to work. Unlink everything. Link Switch back first. When you link Xbox, make sure you pick the Switch info as the primary. All content including your preorder bonus cards should transfer.

No problem. The process can be confusing. If you have any trouble with it, reply back later and I'll take a look when I get home from work and see if there is anything else I missed.

I have had my Show, PSN and Xbox connected for a year. Adding Switch later today…anything different I need to do? I don’t remember issues last year, but would love to skip headaches if possible.

Just link it to the primary system ie the one you played the game first on seems to be the big keys from what I experienced and what I have read

Is Switch your primary? If so, be aware that you will lose your progress in 21 when linked. If you are keeping the same primary platform as last year (ex. Playstation for both 21 and 22), then that wont be an issue and you just need to make sure Playstation is the primary or what they now call a survivor account.
If it looks like you lost everything after, don't panic. Just unlink everything to recover your info and try again while paying close attention to the order and the account you pick on the website.
