Bellinger was a .165 hitter with a -1.6 WAR last year.
Last I looked , he was 3-24 with 17 strike outs in pre season

Taylor played center when belli was hurt. When he was healthy Taylor would slide to LF or 2B

Agreed! I am not looking forward to the potential of a year without a high diamond TA7. If Timmy’s Field of Dreams 99 TN card was any more of a beast it would have been balls deep in Belle and dropkicking Gaston off a tower.

Taking some pressure off of him? the dodgers lineup is loaded. Bellinger is hitting 9th. You can only give him so much more time to recover. 3/27 or whatever in spring training doesn't look good for a 26 year old

I never like to see guys do poorly, so I hope you’re right. But I’m not convinced at all. He was bad in 2020, even worse in 2021, and just shockingly embarrassingly disastrous in 2022 ST.
Right now, the Sox and dodgers could make each other’s lives easier: the Sox have too many closers and not enough outfielders. The dodgers have too many outfielders and not a strong closer. A trade would make sense. But if I were the Sox GM and you offered me Bellinger for Kimbrel, I would pass harder than… I’d pass harder than a… a… whatver. I don’t know. But I would pass.

@the_dragon1912 We still love him out here, but he had a lot of pressure to be the big bopper that Freeman has proven to be.
@SchnauzerFace You see what Kike and Joc have done since being traded away? LA is a big stage to play on with massive expectations and pressure, especially if you show potential and the fan base embraces you like they did Bellinger.

You'd pass harder than I would pass on Anne. I'm not letting the Anne thing go for all of 22.
At least you now have Pollock and not Belli...
