Trout is a FoTF card
-
How does this work? Is it based on the whole career or the last 3 years? Juan Soto technically should have the highest LS card based on his last 3 seasons though like Vlad, his defense knocks that down.
I can't see it being anyone but Trout though.
-
Some people never get Trout's live card because he costs so much. This gives them a chance to play with at least a lower version of him.

There's no guarantee that trout is the best card in the game at the start this year.

Trouts LS should not be high at the start of the year, The last 3 years he has only avg 100 games a year. In the last 5 years Trout has missed over 300 games.
And only has 9 consecutive years of top 5 MVP voting….what a hack, grab some pine Trout!

This isn’t totally on-topic, but prompted me to wonder:
If you’re a team up to bat against the opposing team’s closer, down 1 in the 9th with two outs and the bases loaded, who would you want as your hitter coming to the plate right now: Trout? Soto? Ohtani? Vlad? Someone else? -

But for big names? Shohei.

He's over the hill at age 30 lol. In all honesty watch him have his best season this year.

Does this maybe mean that live series players may be lower rated to start the year? It just feels off to give Acuna and Trout cards presumably lower than LS.
-
Clutch performers with a great postseason track record and still great right now???? I'd have to Soto. He really came alive in the 2019 playoffs after a few successful seasons and was utterly clutch. Since then, he's been the best overall offensive player.
-
TBF Acuna had a AS card that was on par for the most part with his LS but it still went up in price most of the year, I don’t think LS Trout is under 300,000 regardless possibly still 400,000.
A 90 Trout is the Mike Trout your mom says you have at home more so than anything else she’s ever had a replacement for at home. Plus it’s the first time that I’ve played since 16 where there’s a cheaper less good Trout available extremely early.
For a couple years I’ve wished the diamonds came out a bit latter but that definitely doesn’t seem to be the case this year. Hopefully a bit harder to obtain. Last year I had a 42 team within about a week from showdown and missions no exchanges, I can’t imagine having a 90 Trout Chapman Clase and others that early.

So just lower his durability. Healthy trout is still the best player in baseball and his LS card will 100% reflect that.

Overall feeling online is Trout as a FoTF card is a good move on of the more agreed upon things I have ever seen for DD from the community in a while

I sure hope he has a great year. My big fear is that he follows Pujol's trajectory. Look at the first 11 years vs. the second 11...

Those are fighting words. Pujols will get to 700 :).
But yeah, you're right. How can anyone keep up that pace? And don't say Bonds. Don't say Bonds.
