Ok there is some articles out there saying that mlb 22 will be the free game for ps plus. Anyone think that it's an actual possibility?
Not a chance. But if you're buying digital and worried about pre-ordering, we'll know the free games next Wednesday so you wait til then.
The announcement is already out. No MLB The Show.
Did you just see an announcement saying no MLB The Show or did you see the actual list of free April games? So far I am just seeing speculation/predictions for April from a bunch of sites.
I saw an actual list that said it came from the PS Blog, though I didn't see it there. The games are Days Gone, Zombie Army 4: Dead War and Oddworld: Soulstorm. None that I care about.
Not that it was for everyone but I am a fan of Days Gone. I have played through it twice. The main drawback is that it starts out really, really slowly.
But yeah, those are from last April

You must suffer with us through moments like 8 xbh with rookie Ozzie Smith or Forbes Field home runs by Luis Aparicio. It's gonna be a fun year. Thanks to the fact that baseball is back, lockdown suuuuucked but, it's over and we get to see Degrom and Scherzer on the same staff, the return of Verlander, a small possibility of #700 from Pujols, one last hoorah for Molina and Waino.
Texas will actually have some fun inner- state games with the Rangers building up and the Astros not going anywhere.
The Mariners could break their playoff curse.
The Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays and Rays may have to most intense division showdown we've seen in years.
The Padres will most likely end in 3rd.....again.
But baseball is back!!!!!

Yeah I am all downloaded and ready to go now. Ill get home from work around 9pm Thu night then shower and eat and BASEBALL TIME!

Man, I hope they stay healthy and set the all time record for most games by a battery. All time records don't get broken very often these days. With the way players are constantly changing teams these days it may be one of those records that stands for a very long time.
I should probably try and make it down to see Waino pitch at some point this year.

That's awesome and yes I am right with you. Definitely hoping for some magic this year. Actually, did Waino say he was retiring? Or just Molina? Would be crazy if Pujols, Molina and Waino all retire at the same time. I wish Waino hadn't been hurt as much, a couple more big seasons and he's a Hall of Famer in my opinion.
I'm so jealous you can go see them. I always go when they visit San Diego but that's usually 3-4 games a year tops. I was at the game last year when Matt Carpenter came in to pitch.

Only Molina has announced his retirement. I would love for these three to all have solid seasons and hang it up together. Has there ever been three such iconic players for a single team all finishing their careers together at the same time?
Yeah, I live 2 hours from St Louis. My only issue is trying to pick a time to go. You never know pitching rotations that far in advance. Maybe I can find a home series where they are playing a bad team (cheaper prices) and facing a left hander (for a chance to see Pujols DH) and with Wainwright pitching and just bite the bullet and pay up, because it won't be cheap. I have a feeling Wainwright outings will be prime games to go to this year.
Of course this being baseball the team may just price me out of that opportunity.

I get home at about 230pm I will have to take a nap before it comes out and stay up until it is time to go to work the next morning at 4am

You should make the trip to Dodger stadium to see them play, Not sure what AL team they play but if it is the west you could make the trip to Angel Stadium. I live about 45 min from Dodger stadium have not been to a game in two years becasue of Covid but plan on going this year. It would be cool to see Kershaw and Waino pitch against each other if that match up happens.
