I've hit the pitchers dome before and watched him tumble off the mound, I'm sure you’ve seen that before. They feel a little woozy is the excuse given.

Can't players get injured diving back to first base on pick off attempts? I've never seen it but saw it mentioned before.

I'm pretty sure that hasn't been in the game for years. The last time I remember seeing it was back in 17.

Yeah, if you dome the pitcher, he falls to ground flailing like he is having a seizure, the trainer usually informs you that he took quite shot or is feeling a bit woozy and will have to be replaced. It is quite amusing to get that diagnosis after seeing him flailing violently on the ground.
